OneCNC Powerful CAD CAM, made easy

OneCNC Powerful CAD CAM, made easy

Often designers and manufacturers have the opinion that 5 axis machining is both difficult and challenging.

OneCNC has continually developed 5 axis machining to be made easy.
OneCNC 5-axis machining can provide infinite possibilities as to the part sizes and shapes you can effectively machine.
The term “5-axis” refers to the number of directions in which the cutting tool can move.
On a 5-axis machining centre, the cutting tool moves across the X, Y and Z linear axes.
Machines with simultaneous ability also rotate simultaneously on the A and B axes to approach the part from all directions.
This means, you can process five sides of a part in a single setup.

OneCNC simultaneous 5-axis technology raises the limits on the types of part geometries you can machine.
By empowering you to produce highly complex components in a single setup, OneCNC 5-axis technology can redefine your overall capabilities.

OneCNC CAD CAM software makes it possible for programmers to generate 5-axis NC programs quickly and easily, with short machining times and high quality surface finish.
This example shows both optimised Active Cut Step Reduction Technology combined with 5 axis Simultaneous Swarf and Area machining to machine this part.

OneCNC Research and Development team continues to develop 5 axis machining tool paths.
As part of this development process part examples are machined by our engineers in the process.

This is another part of the process used in testing and proving the practical results by actually machining components using Active Cut step reduction and Swarf machining.

OneCNC Technology Development Focus

OneCNC Pocket Machining Development Testing

At OneCNC, Product Development is an ongoing continual evolution of ideas and practical testing.

This video is about OneCNC ZIG-ZAG Pocket Active Cut Technology machining.

OneCNC Active Cut technology is a product fully developed and tested by OneCNC Engineers within our facilities.

OneCNC Active Cut Technology allows for major improvement in machining times together with benefits of increased cutting tools and machine tool life.

OneCNC’s Active Cut technology incorporates an all new technology that actively “looks ahead” allowing the cutter path to machine at optimum speed where permitted, and only decreasing where necessary.

This technology not only makes for very smooth vibration free machining it provides greatly improved feed rates and the added benefit of extending cutting tool and machine life.

Active Cut Technology has been added to all applicable tool paths in the milling range including pocketing, roughing, and profiling with all versions benefiting from this technology.

This technology in Zig-Zag pocketing allows efficient metal removal at the boundary faces of the pocket all in one operation whilst having the ability to use up to 99% of the tool diameter as a cut width..

OneCNC at National Manufacturing Week Australia

nmw_3

National Manufacturing Week (NMW) has reaffirmed its status as Australia’s most important and established manufacturing showcase, with early indicators pointing to another successful industry event in 2018.
Held 9-11 May 2018 in Sydney, NMW 2018 showcased the transformation of the manufacturing industry into a thriving ecosystem heavily focused on collaborative and integrated technologies.
With the nation’s manufacturing industry experiencing continuous growth for 19 consecutive months , National Manufacturing Week reflected the newfound optimism within the industry; with over 4,500 visitors flowing through the event.

OneCNC demonstrated the latest OneCNC Products during this event which was again a very successful event.

OneCNC Australia had application engineers on hand from Sydney to demonstrate first-hand the cost saving features and advantages of the software.

If you were there you may have seen that the stand was busy at times and if you may have  missed the opportunity of having a demonstration of the software please call for an on-line demonstration at a time to suit.
